*ONLINE SPECIAL* – The Dutch know cheese. After a long winter stuck inside their cozy barns, the Beemster cows are set free to run, frolic, and feed upon the tender grass shoots of spring. Thanks to Beemster’s Creamery experts, we get to reap the rewards of this momentous event. Two thousand wheels of Gras are produced from the first milking of the spring season and aged 30 days. Of those delicious wheels of gouda, only 1,000 get exported. The texture is buttery smooth and bursts onto the tongue with sweetness, then finishes earthly fresh.
